Vision Statement

The Great Commission: Matthew 28:19-20

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.

The Greatest Commandments: Matthew 22:37-40

Jesus replied, “'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.' All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

We will work towards this vision by:

• Sharing and teaching the Gospel message regularly.
• Teaching that we need to hear, read, study, meditate upon, and memorize God's word and helping children do so.
• Teaching and modeling what it means to pray, how to pray and giving children opportunities to do so.
• Sharing and teaching what it means to love our neighbors (people at our family, church, our school, community, country, and the world) and giving opportunities for children to do so.
• Giving students opportunities to serve one another and the church.
• Communicating with parents to the best of our ability through the bulletins, PTA meetings, and one-on-one conversations.
• Providing parents with parenting and discipling resources.
• Communicating with and encouraging one another as a children's ministry team through our weekly meetings and other gatherings.

비전

보스턴 장로교회 유년부사역의 비젼은

가족과 동역하여 복음중심의 예수의 제자로 세우는 것입니다.

우리는 어린이들간에 서로 하나님의 사랑을 배우고 보여주며,

하나님을 사랑하고 다른사람을 사랑하는 환경이 조성됨으로

이 비젼을 이루기를 소망합니다.

 

대사명: 마태복음 28: 19-20

그러므로 너희는 가서 모든 민족을 제자로 삼아 아버지와 아들과 성령의 이름으로 세례를 베풀고, 내가 너희에게 분부한 모든 것을 가르쳐 지키게 하라. 볼지어다 내가 세상 끝날까지 너희와 항상 함께 있으리라 하시니라.

대계명: 마태복음 22: 37-40

예수께서 이르시되 네 마음을 다하고 목숨을 다하고 뜻을 다하여 주 너의 하나님을 사랑하라 하셨으니 이것이 크고 첫째 되는 계명이요, 둘째도 그와 같으니 네 이웃을 네 자신 같이 사랑하라 하셨으니 이 두 계명이 온 울법과 선지자의 강령이니라.

비전을 향하여 우리가 할일:

• 정규적으로 성경말씀을 나누고 가르친다.
• 우리가 하나님의 말씀을 듣고, 읽고, 공부하고, 묵상하고, 암기할 필요가 있는 것을 가르치고, 어린이들이 하도록 돕는다.
• 기도가 어떤것인지 어떻게 하는 것인지 가르치고, 본이 되며, 어린이들도 그렇게 하도록 기회를 부여한다.
• 이웃(가족, 교회, 학교, 지역사회, 나라 그리고 세계사람들)을 사랑하는 것이 무엇인지 나누고 가르치며, 어린이들도 할 기회를 부여한다.
• 서로를 섬기고, 교회를 섬길 기회를 준다.
• 게시판, 학부모회의, 그리고 개별상담등 우리의 최선의 방법으로 부모님들과 교통한다.
• 학부모들에게 학부모지침 자료를 제공한다.
• 매주 회의와 다른 모임들을 통해 어린이 사역의 팀으로 서로 교통하고 격려한다.
