From 7/16 to 7/23, our church’s mission team consisting of members from the Youth Group and EM visited the Dominican Republic to share the good news of the gospel with the people there.
For a week, our team partnered with mission team from Dong Shin Church of Southern California and local DTS students from World Grace Mission Center to host VBS programs for children and also do house visits for the members of local churches in the area.
We also got to take part in a mission conference called Mission DR, where we got to worship and pray alongside the local youths, while being empowered to take our commitments to God to the next step.
Overall, it was an amazing experience where we got to encounter the power of the Holy Spirit working through us as we shared the message of the gospel and God’s love with the people of DR.
